why join TRY trips

TRY is more then a vacation

Ride and learn

At TRY, adventure starts on the water. Our crystal-clear lagoon, protected by a natural reef, offers warm, flat water and steady winds, the perfect playground for progression. Whether you’re an experienced kitesurfer or stepping on a board for the very first time, you’ll learn and ride in a safe, supportive environment guided by professionals. Pure conditions, total freedom, and the confidence to push your limits.

The iconic rock party

When the sun goes down, TRY comes alive. Barefoot beach parties next to a remote rock rising from the sea. Lasers, DJs, fire and cocktails under the stars. Not a festival, a feeling. Strangers become friends. Nights you don’t forget.

The community

TRY goes beyond experience, it creates impact. Travel by kite or jeep to Tsiandamba and witness change with your own eyes. Together, we purify drinking water for local families and children using our portable water systems. You don’t just hear the story, you become part of it. Real connection, real contribution, and the rare feeling of knowing your journey truly matters.

The spot

From September to November, Ankasy Lagoon delivers consistent southeast trade winds (18–30+ knots) in warm, side-onshore conditions. A reef-protected lagoon with flat water, sandy bottom and 25–28°C water makes it perfect for all levels, from first lessons to confident progression. Outside the reef, clean waves and open sections offer wave riding and big air on stronger days. This is also the dry season, with blue skies and very little rain—but it’s when local communities face their greatest lack of clean drinking water. During our TRY trips and the Focus Festival, we bring our guests to the largest fishing village in the region, where we produce clean drinking water on-site using Rainman desalination units. Guests can actively participate in one of our water missions
