The flow of your lesson

1

Powerkite: technical and practical

Here, you will learn to work safely and efficiently with the Vantage Discovery, a weather-resistant land kite. You will practise the basic movements and learn certain concepts to later apply them to the water kite. In most cases, this lesson phase will not be repeated during subsequent lessons.

Upwind and downwind bodydrag and kite control + selfrescue

Here you will learn to prepare the Vantage Vulture or Valcon, our water kites for departure, lay your lines and master the safeties. The wind window will also be discussed during this lesson phase. During the second lesson, the instructor will let you work independently and guide you where necessary.

Water start and learning to kite

In this lesson phase, we will use the board to cover the first meters. During the 2nd lesson, we will focus on sailing and practice any upwind sailing technique. During the 3rd lesson, we will focus on upwind sailing and turning. The lesson content can / will be adapted according to your progression curve / level!

Unrigging and tidying up

Here, you will learn how to tidy up the kite, fold lines and get useful tips on how to handle it yourself later.

Coaching with Video Analysis

Now you are ready to learn your dream tricks, through our coaching programme and learn each trick quickly and efficiently through video analysis.

Lesson Complete – Time to Relax

Great job today on the water. Let’s take a moment now to slow things down We’ll head for a cold or warm drink, relax together, and chat a bit about how the session went. While you unwind, we’ll also talk through your next kite lesson — what you did well, what felt challenging, and what we’ll focus on next time.
